Your Christmas dinner tables wouldn't be complete without a festive centre piece to compliment the perfect place setting. Here's a selection of gorgeous ideas that (similar to the place settings), can be adapted to suit any resources you may already have in your home...
This is such a sweet idea which can be created by using random twigs from the garden and arranged in a glass vase lined with Hessian. You might need to use florist's Oasis to keep the twigs in place, failing this you could use an old plastic bag and some newspaper stuffed into the glass to help keep everything in place. Then print off some of your favourite family photographs and arrange them on your home made family tree. To enhance the rustic feel I would scatter leaves and twigs through the centre of the table along with glass tea lights and you could even incorporate leaves on each place setting to continue the theme.
This effect can be created using an array of different sized bowls and vases using floating candles and branches of Holly...very festive.
If you've got any spare candy canes lying around and an extra pair of hands, you could create this brilliant and fun arrangement.
I love this idea of using a cake stand and filling it with decorations and foliage of your choice and style.
Similar to the cake stand, but using a trifle bowl and filling it with decorations...
so simple and yet very effective.
Old sweet jars and flower vases can also be positioned through the centre of the table and filled with baubles and décor of your choice. Just make sure you check the baubles fit through the neck of the jars before the big day!
Scattering baubles and décor along the table also creates a very cool and unique way of styling the table.
A combination of flower arrangements, tea lights and festive reindeer make this centre piece look so effortless and yet inviting and warm.
A unique idea of bringing the lighting fixture into the arrangement by hanging an assortment of décor from it down to the centre of the table. This one is sure to impress your guests.
Lanterns and pine cones through the centre create a warm and cosy atmosphere to your dinner table.
Until next time,
